PresentMGR for Mac
The app for the show computer. It plays your speakers' slides in PowerPoint or Keynote, puts their notes, timer and Next button on their own phones, and runs the whole show on the venue network — no internet needed once the files are on the Mac.
Signed and notarized by Apple. You'll also need a free account to plan your events: create one here.
Install · about 3 minutes
Install it on the show Mac
- Download the installer above. It's a single file called
PresentMGR-version.pkg.
- Open it from your Downloads folder and follow the steps. Choose the Mac's main disk when asked.
- Open PresentMGR from Applications. Your show page opens in the browser on the Mac.
- Allow Accessibility when macOS asks (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → PresentMGR). That lets PresentMGR move the slides in PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Link it to your workspace. In the dashboard: Show computers → Add show computer. On the Mac: Go Live → Link this computer, and type the code. Full show Mac guide.
Do this a few days before the event, then open Settings on the Mac for the 10-step room checklist.
Updates
Getting new versions
- When a new version is out, PresentMGR on the Mac shows “Update available” — only while nothing is Live, so it never interrupts a show.
- Download it here and open the installer again. Your events, files, phone links and settings stay as they are.
- Never update during a show. Install between events, then open the app and check Go Live before doors.
- Nothing installs by itself. You decide when.
What you need
Requirements
- A Mac with macOS 12 Monterey or later (Apple silicon or Intel).
- Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote on that Mac, for the decks you'll show.
- A Wi-Fi or wired network that the Mac and the presenters' phones share. Internet is only needed to bring files down before the show.
- Presenters need nothing installed — any phone with a web browser works.
