Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Comedy For The Internet Inc., doing business as PresentMGR ("CFTI", "we", "us"), 12801 N. Stemmons Fwy, Suite 826, Dallas, TX 75234. They cover presentmgr.com, the PresentMGR cloud workspace at app.presentmgr.com, speaker pages, and the PresentMGR app for Mac (together, "PresentMGR"). By creating an account, buying a plan or using PresentMGR, you agree to them. If you use PresentMGR for an organization, you agree for that organization and confirm you can.
Who can use PresentMGR
You must be at least 13 years old to use PresentMGR, and at least 18 to buy a plan. Speakers can use the private page a host sends them without creating an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account and workspaces.
Your content
You own everything you and your speakers bring to PresentMGR: presentations, notes, run of show, names and details ("your content"). You give us permission to store, copy, process and deliver your content only as needed to run PresentMGR for you, for example to check a deck, send it to your show computer, or show it to the people you share it with. We never sell, share or rent your content, never use it for advertising, and never use your presentations to train AI models.
You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload, and that you have permission to add the people you invite and to send them emails through PresentMGR. If you believe something on PresentMGR infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with the details and we'll look into it promptly.
Usage data and insights
When you use PresentMGR, we also record how it's used: for example, how long talks run against their slots, when files arrive, which features are used, and the questions people ask the Ask PresentMGR assistant ("usage data"). We use usage data to run, support and improve PresentMGR.
We may also combine usage data across many events and remove anything that identifies a person, a workspace or an event, to create aggregated, de-identified insights (for example, "the average talk runs four minutes over its slot"). We may use and share these insights for research, education, marketing and industry reports, including with partners, and they may be used beyond PresentMGR. Insights never include your presentations or other content, and never identify you, your speakers or your events. We won't try to re-identify anyone from them, and anyone we share them with must agree not to try either. You can opt out of having your data included, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Using PresentMGR fairly
Don't use PresentMGR to break the law, to upload malware or content you have no right to share, to send spam, to harass anyone, or to try to get into accounts, workspaces or systems that aren't yours. Don't overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it without our written OK. We may limit, suspend or remove accounts or content that break these rules, and we'll tell you why when we can.
Plans and billing
Plans, prices and what each includes are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars, plus sales tax where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Pro and Team are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the app under Plan & usage → Manage billing; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Event Pass is a one-time payment for one workspace, open for 45 days from purchase. It doesn't renew.
- Founding lifetime is a one-time payment that gives one workspace Pro for as long as we offer PresentMGR. It isn't transferable to another workspace.
- If we change a subscription price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
Refunds and cancellations
- Event Pass: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of purchase and your event hasn't happened yet. No refunds after your event date.
- Pro and Team, yearly: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of a yearly purchase or of an automatic yearly renewal.
- Pro and Team, monthly: cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
- Founding lifetime: a full refund if you ask within 30 days of purchase. After that it's final.
To ask for a refund, write to [email protected] from your account email. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. When a purchase is refunded, the workspace returns to the Free plan (and a Founding spot is released); your events stay. Where the law gives you more rights than this, those rights apply.
Free plan, guests and your files
The Free plan and planning without an account are free, with the limits shown on the pricing page. A guest workspace (one with no email added) is removed 45 days after it was created.
We keep your files while you use PresentMGR. Ninety days after a paid plan ends, presentation files beyond Free's 1 GB are removed, oldest first. If no one uses a workspace on the Free plan for 12 months, its presentation files are removed. We email the workspace owner 30 days and 7 days before any file is removed. Events, run of show and speaker details stay either way. You can download your files or delete your workspace at any time.
Show day and your responsibilities
PresentMGR is built so a show keeps running if the internet fails: the Mac app keeps your event and files on the show computer, and live slide control stays on your local network. Live events are unpredictable, though. Please rehearse on the equipment you'll use, keep backup copies of important files, and have a backup plan for the show. You're responsible for your event, your equipment and your venue's network.
The Ask Cue assistant
The assistant uses AI to answer questions and suggest changes. Its answers can be wrong, so check anything important. It never changes your events without your confirmation.
Changes to PresentMGR
We're improving PresentMGR all the time and may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance, and if you're on a yearly or lifetime plan and don't accept the change, you can ask for a prorated refund of the time or value you lose.
Disclaimers
PresentMGR is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or right for every purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, CFTI won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or event costs, arising from your use of PresentMGR, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim about PresentMGR is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against CFTI because of your content or your breach of these terms, you'll cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.
Ending your use
You can stop using PresentMGR at any time and delete your workspace from its settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. If we end a paid plan without cause, we'll refund the unused part of what you paid.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Using PresentMGR after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us first; most things can be sorted out quickly.
